Clark Nexsen has been recognized by Architect magazine as one of the Top 50 firms in the U.S. in the design category, as part of the 2016 Architect 50. Based on a judged portfolio of projects worked on or completed in the last year, Clark Nexsen ranked 29th in the design category. Other considerations such as mentorship of young designers, research, and pro bono work were also evaluated in the ranking.

“We are both proud and honored by this recognition,” said Dennis Stallings, Clark Nexsen principal and design director. “We attribute a large part of our firm’s success to our commitment to provide our clients with exceptional design.”

Projects in the design portfolio included:
The Academic & Performing Arts Building at John Tyler Community College
Library and Learning Commons at UNC School of the Arts
Regional Plant & Teaching Facility at Wake Tech Community College
Parking Deck 2 at Wake Tech Community College

Clark Nexsen was selected as a design leader from a field of 136 architecture firms that qualified for evaluation this year. The survey is administered by Architect magazine, the journal of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
