  • MARKETING COORDINATOR
    (Charlotte Office)

    A full-time position is available for a Marketing Coordinator in our Charlotte, NC office. Preferred applicants will have a BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or related field such as English, plus min. 3 years experience in the A/E/C industry. Applicants will also be considered with 5 years of solid work experience in marketing within the A/E/C industry. Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop. Experience with Deltek CRM software or similar and experience in public relations/branding are a plus. Work includes: Special event planning, media release preparation, database maintenance; development, oversight, and production of RFPs, RFQs, SF330s and other government forms; proposal material writing and preparation including resumes, projects sheets, general company information; preparation of interview presentations and promotional campaigns; maintaining marketing libraries for employees, proposals, project sheets, projects; involvement with lead and client research; maintenance of digital and hard copy files of business development correspondence with prospective clients/competitors/teaming partners/consultants; and handling of administrative tasks such as inventory, archiving, and tracking of marketing materials. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

  • LIGHTING STUDENT INTERN (Summer 2010)
    (Norfolk Office)

    A summer 2010 intern opportunity is available in our Lighting Studio. Applicants will have completed their junior year in a bachelor’s program in architectural engineering or a program focusing in architectural lighting design. Applicants will be able to demonstrate through samples of work (PDF format, max. 5 sheets) a basic knowledge of lighting design including illuminance, luminance, different light sources, CRI and CCT. Preferred applicants will have a working knowledge of software programs AGI-32/ Litepro/Visual and AutoCAD, and knowledge of design guidelines ASHRAE 90.1, LEED design practices, and the IESNA Lighting Handbook. STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

  • STRUCTURAL BRIDGE INSPECTION ENGINEER/TEAM LEADER
    (Norfolk and Roanoke Offices)

    Minimum 5 years bridge experience in NBIS (National Bridge Inspection Standards) bridge safety inspections. PE registration desired (EIT registration required) and must be qualified to be a bridge safety inspection Team Leader under NBIS regulations. Must enjoy working outdoors with travel involved. Approximate 50/50 split between office and field. Excellent growth opportunities. U.S. citizenship or permanent residence status required.
