Janet Brooks Named President-Elect for SMPS Foundation Board

Janet Brooks is serving as President-Elect of the SMPS Foundation Board for 2018-19

Janet Brooks has been re-elected to the Society for Marketing Professional Services Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Janet was first named an SMPS Foundation member trustee in 2017 and was re-elected to serve for the 2018-19 term as president-elect. The Board consists of leading marketing professionals dedicated to the A/E/C industry.

With more than three decades of A/E/C business development and marketing experience, Janet Brooks, CPSM, excels at researching, identifying, and connecting herself and others to a wide variety of global clients. Janet joined Clark Nexsen in 2005 in the Charlotte office. Her passion lies in researching the next big thing paralleled with mentoring others.

Janet was a contributor to the SMPS Foundation’s book, A/E/C Business Development: The Decade Ahead. She served on the SMPS National Certification Committee for two years and is also involved with other industry-related organizations including CPN of NC (Construction Professionals Network of North Carolina). In 2015, she was honored with the CPNI Collins Cooper Service Award reflecting her efforts as a volunteer in sharing her industry expertise.
