Kristin Shalkowski Elected to SMPS Research Triangle Board of Directors

Kristin Shalkowski, Clark NexsenKristin Shalkowski has been elected to the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Research Triangle Chapter’s 2021-22 board of directors. The Board consists of leading marketing professionals dedicated to the A/E/C industry within the Triangle.

Kristin has been in the A/E/C industry with Clark Nexsen’s Raleigh office, and a member of SMPS Research Triangle for six years. She began her career as a marketing assistant, and is now a marketing coordinator responsible for leading and curating proposals, assisting with interview preparations, and supporting other marketing and business development efforts. In 2016, Kristin followed her passions for teaching and education, and started teaching in the Communications Studies department at Campbell University, her alma mater, as an adjunct professor. She is also an adjunct professor for the Communication and Theatre department at Wake Technical Community College.

Kristin previously served on the education committee for SMPS Research Triangle, and has attended several monthly programs, socials, Coordinators’ Club events, and the 2016 Southeastern Regional Conference in Charleston, SC. Various featured topics from SMPS programs have made a compelling impact on her career, and she is excited to continue her growth as the director of education.
