Ben Hatcher brings more than 43 years of architectural design experience to his role at Clark Nexsen. His cross-market expertise in higher education, K-12, federal, and municipal projects benefits our clients as he works with design teams to uncover innovative solutions. As a principal and architect, he has led the delivery of large, complex projects such as Virginia State University’s multipurpose center; transformative renovations such as the Duke Hall Art & Art History renovation at James Madison University; and multiple projects of varying types and sizes at institutions throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Ben is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Society of American Military Engineers. As a LEED Accredited Professional, he provides guidance on sustainable design principles and features, working with project teams to meet client sustainability goals. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design – Architecture from NC State University.
