Jon Dover is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of HVAC design experience. As a lead mechanical design engineer at Clark Nexsen, he is responsible for the development of construction documents related to the HVAC design for various building types, including commercial and government office buildings, retail, and mixed use facilities. He has been designing piping & HVAC systems for 34 years, including nearly a year at the Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District. Working at the Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, he was responsible for design review of Defense Supply Center, Richmond, Fort Myer, Fort Lee, Fort A.P. Hill and Langley AFB projects. Jon is a Certified Geo-Exchange Designer and is well versed in designing vehicle exhaust systems and shop ventilation.
Jon is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers as well as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. Outside of his engineering work in the state of Virginia, Jon is also a licensed professional engineer in Arizona, Washington, DC, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. Having completed both of his degrees at Old Dominion University, he holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
