Cross OU Opens at the University of Oklahoma

Cross OU in Norman, OK; Architecture and engineering: Clark NexsenCross OU creates a vibrant, amenity rich residential experience for upperclassmen at the University of Oklahoma. Cross received its certificate of occupancy this week and opens to students later this month. The $194 million project expands the University’s options for on-campus living for students as part of a public-private partnership, or P3. Cross is the first project at OU to use this delivery method.

Cross will house 1,235 students in four buildings; each featuring one-, two-, and four-bedroom suites with fully furnished living rooms, wood floors, and Corian-style countertops. Amenities include a community kitchen on every floor, study and collaborations spaces, performance rehearsal spaces, and theatre and performance venues. The project includes a full service dining facility and retail venues for students including Cycle 3 SixtyBlue 7, Lululemon, and the Acre Provisions which includes a vegi butcher, gelato shop and a local coffee shop with a roaster on site.
