Erin Horton Graduates from ASLA Virginia Leadership Training Program
Erin Horton, PLA, ASLA, LEED AP BD+C, a Senior Landscape Architect in our Virginia Beach office, has graduated from ASLA Virginia’s Leadership Training Program. Led by Nally Ventures, the program focuses on helping leaders reach their full potential by understanding leadership styles and qualities and applying those skills to leading projects and design teams.
Of her experience in the program, Erin said, “It was incredibly beneficial. I learned more about my own leadership traits, had the opportunity to refine my strengths, and gained new skills that will help me grow as a leader. I feel like I have an expanded understanding of how I, and other landscape architects, can impact design in a full-service firm.”
Erin has been part of the Clark Nexsen team for 15 years and has worked on projects across multiple market sectors, including commercial, federal, transportation, and education. She is particularly skilled at connecting communal spaces with thoughtful and well-planned landscapes. Erin’s recent projects include Ferguson Enterprises Headquarters 3, the 19th Street Corridor Improvements, and the Human Performance Center at Fort Bragg.
