Nikki Pierce Receives SDA Lifetime Achievement Award
Nikki Pierce, CDFA, LEED AP, has been honored with the SDA Lifetime Achievement Award at the 56th Society for Design Administration (SDA) National Convention in Lexington, KY. SDA presents this prestigious recognition to individuals who have made continuous and significant contributions to the organization throughout their membership, with recipients evaluated based on their career achievements, professional references, and extensive SDA involvement.
“I am truly honored to receive the SDA Lifetime Achievement Award,” said Nikki. “Throughout my 20-year membership, I have found it incredibly rewarding to contribute to SDA’s mission to advance management and administrative professionals in the AEC industry. I continuously strive to further the organization’s impact with my involvement, and it’s amazing to receive such high recognition for my efforts.”
Providing education, networking, leadership, and resources, SDA promotes good practice management and the professional standards of design firm administrative personnel. The Lifetime Achievement Award honors role model members who continually promote SDA and its values, take on numerous tasks, mentor members, and display passion and commitment to the organization on local and national levels. In addition to this award, SDA recognized Nikki with a STAR Award in 2015. Furthermore, she has served as the vice president and secretary of the organization’s National Executive Committee and chaired the SDA National Certification Committee.
As Clark Nexsen’s Knowledge Manager, Nikki is instrumental in facilitating the practice knowledge that drives the firm forward, and within her role, she manages, organizes, and curates content on several of the firm’s systems. Recently celebrating her 25 years with Clark Nexsen, she has extensive AEC administrative experience and a deep understanding of the firm. She is a valued resource and an advocate for collaboration, encouraging individuals to share their expertise and seek the knowledge of others. Nikki is a Certified Design Firm Administrator and a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design + Construction. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from SUNY Buffalo State.
