As Chief Innovation Officer, Bill is responsible for leading and managing the process that identifies business opportunities, technologies, and process improvements that will benefit the firm, formulates and communicates strategies for their implementation, and delivers results based on these innovations. He brings more than 35 years of experience leading, designing, and managing large projects for clients across multiple market sectors to his role. Bill is continuously focused on process improvement, emphasizing the importance of adopting new technologies and seeking out opportunities to enhance efficiency.

Since joining Clark Nexsen in 1993, Bill has played a key role in leading the firm’s growth and shaping our strategic direction. As principal of the firm’s Charlotte office from 1999 to 2010, he oversaw a period of significant growth during which the office more than doubled in size and the firm established a leading reputation in student life design. He is part of Clark Nexsen’s senior management team, which includes our executive suite and 14 member board.

Bill earned his Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech before going on to the University of Virginia for his Master of Engineering. His closet full of maroon and orange gear shows his loyalty is clearly with the Hokies. To unwind, Bill takes full advantage of life at the beach with an evening stroll and a cold craft beer.
