Chris Ankeny  PE, LC, LEED AP BD+C

Chris Ankeny is a senior electrical engineer in our Virginia Beach office with over 17 years of experience. He excels at providing complex electrical systems for a variety of projects and client types including federal, higher education, energy, and commercial. A founding member of Clark Nexsen’s Lighting Studio, Chris strives to design lighting quality into the built environment, while producing systems as energy efficiently as possible. He has a passion for daylight integration, including daylight modeling and analysis.

He holds both a Master and Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Penn State University. Involved in several industry organizations, Chris is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and a board member in his local chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES).
