Janet Webster is a Managing Principal with extensive experience leading complex projects for both our Federal and Infrastructure markets. A licensed structural engineer, she combines her engineering expertise with business and management skills to ensure client goals are achieved on each project. Janet is a key client and project manager for our federal team, working regularly with clients including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Navy Facilities Engineering Systems Command. Her projects include the Walter Reed Warrior Transition Unit and the United States Air Force Academy’s CyberWorx facility.
Janet devotes her spare time to giving back to the engineering community. She regularly works with high school and college engineering students and is a passionate advocate and mentor for women who are developing engineering or other STEM careers. She has served on the Virginia Structural Engineer’s Council as a board member, including two years as chair, and is a past president of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Virginia chapter in addition to serving on the board for five years. Janet graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and currently serves on the ODU Alumni Association board of directors. She holds a Master of Science in engineering management from George Washington University.
