Chad Poultney Elected to Clark Nexsen’s Board of Directors

Clark Nexsen is pleased to announce the election of Chad Poultney to its board of directors. Chad joins the current board after being elected at the recent annual shareholder’s meeting.

Chad’s tenure with Clark Nexsen spans more than two decades. He joined Clark Nexsen in 1995 as a structural EIT, earning his PE license in 1999. He was promoted to principal in 2008 and managed the Richmond office from 2009-2013 before returning to the Virginia Beach office. Chad currently leads the commercial practice efforts in Virginia, and the firm was recently selected to design a new headquarters facility for Ferguson Enterprise, Inc. in Newport News, Virginia.

He has served as a principal-in-charge and project manager for commercial, municipal, higher education and federal clients. Over the course of his career with Clark Nexsen, Chad has been involved in multiple strategic initiatives to support the firm’s culture and growth. His leadership philosophy emphasizes embracing new challenges and learning from those experiences.

Chad was elected to a three-year term, along with re-elected 2018-2021 board members Bob Burkholder, Bill Keen, Chad Roberson and Danny Taylor. The other members of the board include Peter Aranyi, Chris Brasier, Clymer Cease, Sam Estep, Greg Hall, Terri Hall, Clint Hardie, Garry Kiskinis and Chris Stone.
