Clark Nexsen Announces Promotions
We are excited to announce the promotion of Georgana Turner to Principal and Steve Bennett to Associate Principal. These promotions recognize the significant contributions each has made to Clark Nexsen, continuing our growth as a leading architecture and engineering firm.
Promoted to Principal
Georgana Turner, PMP, DBIA, LC, LEED AP
Georgana’s natural leadership, energy, and management skills have made her an invaluable member of the firm. She has created an interactive and collaborative design process, bringing together design teams of architects, engineers, stakeholders, and client staff to deliver industry-leading and award-winning projects. As senior project manager, she has led project types across various markets, including commercial, municipal, public safety, sports facilities, and academic and higher education facilities. Within the firm, Georgana has embraced multiple leadership roles, being the Operations Leader on the Community and Culture Market Sector Leadership team and the Community and Culture/Education Lead for the newly formed Project Management Practice group.
Promoted to Associate Principal
Steve Bennett, PE
Steve is a trusted advisor, partner, and resource within the firm and with our clients. He uses his excellent communication skills and attention to detail to ensure project execution, facilitate workflow, and mine future opportunities within our current IDIQ contracts as a senior project manager in the firm. Steve consistently elevates our focus on executing high-quality projects, motivating others by his example, and bringing teams together around a common goal. Outside of the office, Steve is active in local government. He was first elected to the Town Council in the Town of Cape Charles in 2008 – where he has served since – and has also served as the Vice Mayor since 2016.
