Wes Parker was recently named president of the Virginia Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (VASITE). This distinction represents a promotion for Wes within the organization, as he previously served as the Vice President. At its core, VASITE is a professional society for those involved in any type of transportation engineering activities. “I am honored by the opportunity to serve as the VASITE president and give back to the professional transportation community which I hold very near to my heart. I’m looking forward to dedicating my time and resources to continue keeping VASITE ahead of the curve through innovative approaches to advancing the development of the transportation engineering profession,” Wes noted.
Wes is a senior transportation engineer in our Virginia Beach office with more than 10 years of design and management experience within the transportation sector.
