Unite Us is a technology company that aligns all stakeholders from healthcare, government, and the community around a shared goal to promote and improve overall health. Based out of New York City with locations throughout the country from Los Angeles to Raleigh, Unite Us works with communities to ensure their services are delivered to those who need it the most.

After outgrowing their space, Unite Us needed more space to call their own. They wanted an open floor plan with lots of natural light for their expanding company and workforce. While the project had a limited budget, the design team added sophisticated elements to create a clean urban workspace.

Located in an early twentieth-century historic building in downtown Raleigh, the overall design of the new office is bright and open, creating ample space for collaboration and meetings. All workstations are located along the perimeter of the space, and meeting rooms and lounge areas are sporadic throughout the office. An open cafe was incorporated in the center of the office for all hands meetings. Pendant lighting was used throughout the office to emphasize the high ceilings, while the cool color palette complements the warmth of the existing heart of pine flooring. Gray shades on the sash windows frame views to downtown Raleigh and allow occupants to control daylighting.
