Bill Stingl leads the mechanical engineering team for Clark Nexsen’s Raleigh office, bringing more than 30 years of experience to the firm. He has HVAC and plumbing design experience in energy related report development, design cost estimating, and the implementation of HVAC/plumbing design for classroom, cleanroom, laboratory, industrial, food service, and commercial projects. Some of his notable mechanical projects include the BioProcess Innovation Center for FujiFilm Diosynth, the Vector Lab Upfit at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and the Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing Headquarters for Argos Therapeutics. As both a leader and an innovator, Bill has developed cutting-edge facilities, studies, and renovations showcasing the expertise of the mechanical department.

Bill is a professional engineer in North Carolina and Wisconsin as well as a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA). Outside of the office, he is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from University of Wisconsin & Nuclear Power School and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Walden University.
