Becky Brady Appointed to Virginia Beach Library Foundation Board of Directors
Becky Brady, AIA, ALEP, CDT, LEED AP BD+C, has been appointed to the Virginia Beach Library Foundation Board of Directors. Founded in 1982 as the Virginia Beach Library Endowment Foundation, the Virginia Beach Library Foundation secures, manages, and invests privately raised funds, gifts, and bequests in support of Virginia Beach Public Library.
“I am excited and honored to be named to the board of directors for the Virginia Beach Library Foundation,” said Becky, Associate Principal. “The Virginia Beach Public Library is an incredible and important community resource, and I can’t wait to see what great things we can accomplish.”
The three-year appointment adds to Becky’s illustrious career. A Senior Architect based in our Virginia Beach office, Becky has 20 years of design experience. Specializing in K-12 and educational design, she is a leading advocate for the creation of safe, engaging learning environments and partners with clients to develop solutions that respond to their unique educational needs. A graduate of Virginia Tech’s College of Architecture, Arts, and Design, her work includes Fuquay-Varina Middle School, Brooks Global Studies School, Ashe County Middle School, and Edneyville Elementary School. Most recently, she was a graduate of the Hampton Roads Chamber LEAD757 Program Class of 2025, signifying her status as a respected leader in the area and in her field.
About the Virginia Beach Library Foundation
The Virginia Beach Library Foundation serves as the charitable arm of Virginia Beach Public Library. It accepts all donations made to the library, applies for grant and foundation funding, and continues to manage its endowment. Through these fundraising efforts, the foundation supports programs and resources for the library, especially in the areas of youth and family programming and technology and capital improvements.
