Brendon Glover and Allison Rogers Receive AIA Coastal Virginia Associate Member Awards

Brendon Glover and Allison Rogers, LEED Green Associate, were awarded AIA Coastal Virginia Associate Member Awards at AIA Coastal Virginia’s annual Design + Honor Awards hosted on November 20th in Norfolk, Virginia. Highlighting the impact of associate members, this award recognizes associates’ exceptional accomplishments and contributions to the profession. 

“It’s incredible to receive this recognition,” said Brendon. “It signifies the positive impact that I have sought to create through my professional, volunteer, and outreach efforts, and it pushes me to continue pursuing new avenues for growth and ways to serve my community.”   

Brendon Glover is an Architectural Designer who joined the firm’s Virginia Beach office in 2022. He is a creative designer with a passion for making, and his portfolio includes civil, federal, and community projects. While actively pursuing licensure, he has had an impressive impact on the profession and his community. His passion for service and the field of architecture is reflected in his extensive volunteer and outreach work as well as his contributions to numerous AIA Coastal Virginia events and opportunities, such as Pecha Kucha Night and Pop-Up Park. 

“I’m honored to be recognized with this award,” said Allison. “I’m truly grateful for the leadership and development opportunities afforded to young designers by AIA Coastal Virginia and Clark Nexsen. It’s with their support that I’ve been able to connect my passion for community service to architecture.”

Allison Rogers is an Architectural Designer based in our Virginia Beach office with experience in K-12 schools, higher education facilities, community centers, libraries, and more. As a young professional on the path to licensure, she is dedicated to continuous growth and committed to having a positive impact through her substantial volunteer work. Her involvement in AIA Coastal Virginia has been extensive, and she regularly attends events, pursues learning opportunities, and takes advantage of networking opportunities to connect with fellow aspiring architects throughout Hampton Roads.
