Clark Nexsen’s Give Local Campaign Donates $18,000 to Regional Charitable Organizations

Clark Nexsen, in partnership with the Community Collective Foundation, will donate $18,000 across organizations in the southeast for the firm’s third annual Give Local Campaign. For the month-long campaign, employees nominated local 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. Each office then voted on which nonprofit in their community would receive a $2,000 donation, doubling the firm’s annual campaign contribution.

Give Local is a wonderful initiative directly impacting our employees’ communities,” said Susan Drew, CID, LEED AP, Principal, Director of Interiors, and Community Collective Foundation Board Member. Donating to local charities chosen by our employees brings our offices together and reinforces our strong company culture. The funds this year will promote access to nutrition and food, support programs and services for individuals with different abilities, provide relief to those affected by Hurricane Helene, and more.

This is the third consecutive year that Clark Nexsen has hosted the Give Local Campaign. Aiming to impact organizations within the firm’s local communities, this campaign has distributed $36,000 to 23 organizations over the past three years, with two organizations receiving consecutive donations.

“It’s really exciting to participate in this campaign,” said Jenna Lackey, Marketing Coordinator and nominator of the SPCA of Wake County. “We learn about the causes important to our peers and spread awareness about opportunities for giving in our communities. It’s rewarding to work for a company that seeks employee input and takes action to support the organizations that we believe in.”

The organizations that will receive a $2,000 donation are as follows: Jay’s HOPE Foundation, Macon, GA; Bounty & Soul, Asheville, NC; Camp Grier’s Old Fort Strong Fund, Charlotte, NC; SPCA of Wake County, Raleigh, NC; Appalachian Resource Conservation & Development Council, Johnson City, TN; CARES, Inc., Richmond, VA; Angels of Assisi, Roanoke, VA; Alice’s Kids, Vienna, VA; Ability Center of Virginia, Virginia Beach, VA.
