Greer Allergy Immunotherapy is a global leader in the development of diagnostic products that treat over 6,000 forms of varying allergies. As the company’s growth and market share have continued to put pressure on their existing manufacturing capabilities, Greer selected Clark Nexsen to help develop a solution that will allow the organization to meet this ongoing demand.
The project involves designing a new EU-compliant manufacturing facility to showcase the company’s platform technologies and augment the existing manufacturing space at their Lenoir campus. The program consists of new aseptic staging, production, and filling spaces. Also included are spaces for sterilization, centrifugation, and extraction suites, as well as a large inspection and labeling suite.
As the new showpiece for the organization, the manufacturing building will offer a public view into the development of the various products. The building was designed so that a perimeter corridor allows views into the unique areas that define the eight steps making up the manufacturing process.
