Clark Nexsen recently welcomed Megan Chorley to its Raleigh office as a workplace interior designer. She brings more than a decade of experience working with higher education, industrial, federal, and science and technology clients. Her extensive knowledge of corporate office and lab design will be a valuable asset to our growing Workplace Interiors group. In addition to her position with Clark Nexsen, Megan is also currently assigned to a project with Red Hat as a workplace design coordinator, supporting the company’s Global Workplace Planning and Delivery (GWS) group.
“We are thrilled to have Megan join our interiors team. Her diverse experience in the field and connection to the community will greatly benefit our group in Raleigh and the firm as a whole,” remarked Anne Bradley, Vice President for Workplace Interior Design at Clark Nexsen.
Megan’s career began in architecture after graduating with a Master of Architecture degree from North Carolina State University. She later recognized her passion for the interiors side and ultimately made the career transition into interior design.
“Having that background in architecture always helped me to understand the relationship between the exterior of a building and its interior spaces, and how they support each other,” said Megan.
Megan has significant experience in developing agriculture research facilities and specialty labs, as well as corporate entities. She is also an expert on sustainability practices.
Working with Red Hat, Megan will be spearheading the development of their construction playbook, in addition to supporting local and global projects. Drawing from her workplace design experience and work with Clark Nexsen, her expertise will aid Red Hat’s global efforts and establish modern project guidelines for all their workplaces.
